Precision Sun Valley Insulation was founded in 2020 by a Sun Valley homeowner who had lived through the area's heating and cooling challenges firsthand - the brutal July heat, the hard January freezes, and the energy bills that came with a house that was never well insulated to begin with.
Sun Valley is a community of working families, and the housing stock here - most of it built between the 1970s and 1990s - was put up fast and affordably. That means most homes in this valley were never insulated to the standard the climate actually demands. Starting with neighbors and word-of-mouth jobs, the business grew into a full-service insulation contractor covering 12 communities across the greater Reno-Sparks area.
We are not a franchise, not a national chain. Every job is done by our own crew, and the same person who gives you the estimate will be the one answering the phone if you have a question a year later. We work in homes like the ones we grew up in, and we take that seriously.

We assess what is in your attic, crawl space, and walls and recommend based on what will actually perform - not based on what is most profitable for us. If your existing insulation only needs a top-up, we will tell you that.
Every job is performed by a Nevada-licensed contractor. We document what was installed so you have records for your own files, for any rebate paperwork, and for future buyers if you ever sell.
After every installation, we walk through the completed work with you so you can see the coverage yourself. If anything looks thin or uneven, we fix it on the spot - before the crew loads up.

We hold a valid Nevada contractor license issued by the Nevada State Contractors Board - the state authority responsible for licensing all residential and commercial insulation work in Nevada. You can verify our license directly on the Board website before signing anything.

Every job we do is covered by full liability insurance. That protects your home, your property, and you as the homeowner. Ask for proof of insurance before any contractor starts work - a reputable company will provide it without hesitation.
